Arch 331 Twentieth Century Architectural History and Theory

Introduction to the history and theories of Modernism from the late 19th century to present day. Explores diverse, contemporary issues with a focus on the relationship between theory and the art and craft of building. Selected topics will emphasize the probing of philosophical and ideological aspects of current practice. This is the second course in a sequence of two: Arch 330 and Arch 331.
