Ch 590 Biochemistry: Structure and Function
First term of a three-term course for students preparing for professional biochemical work. Structures of biological molecules and assemblies, including proteins, nucleic acids, and lipids, and how these structures give rise to their biological functions. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Ch 490 and may be taken only once for credit. Expected preparation: Ch 336. Recommended pre- or corequisites: Ch 416 or Ch 440/540, Ch 320/321, and Bi 253.
