ESM 575 Limnology and Aquatic Ecology

Encompasses biological, physical, geological, and chemical aspects of freshwater environments. Overview of lake ecosystems, emphasizing fundamental interactions, processes, and ecology, as well as an appreciation of the impact of human activities on these waterbodies. A field trip is required. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as ESM 475 and may be taken only once for credit.
