Graduate programs

The Department of Economics offers graduate work leading to the Master of Science and Master of Arts degrees, as well as two graduate certificates, the Graduate Certificate in Econometrics and Data Analysis and the Graduate Certificate in Environmental and Resource Economics.

Sustainability Graduate Certificate

The Graduate Certificate in Sustainability offers an integrated series of post-baccalaureate courses that allow students to deeply explore and understand the three spheres of sustainability: social, economic, and environmental. The courses cover theory as well as practice, providing experience analyzing real-world approaches and solutions. Courses can be taken by students admitted solely to the certificate program or concurrently enrolled in masters and doctoral programs at PSU. The certificate is administered by the Department of Economics.
