An investigation of the archaeology of Oceania, from the earliest peopling of New Guinea over 60,000 years ago to subsequent voyaging and human settlement throughout the blue continent of the Pacific Islands. Explores cultural developments and human ecosystem engineering in island groups such as Guam and the Mariana Islands, Hawaiʻi, Rapa Nui/Easter Island, and Aotearoa New Zealand.
