Hst 442 Race, Class and Gender in the American West
Examines the trans-Mississippi West as a cultural meeting ground and explores the racial, class, and gender implications of new migrations to the region. Particular attention will be placed on the arid West and human responses to landscape. Expected preparation:
Hst 201, 202 or upper-division standing.
