Introduction to general topology with the notions of interior, closure, topological space, continuity, and homeomorphism. Construction techniques and properties of point-set topology, especially connectedness, compactness, and separation. This is the second course in a sequence of three:
Mth 534,
Mth 535, and
Mth 536 which must be taken in sequence.
