CFS 462 Child Life and the Hospitalized Child
Introduces students to the role of the Child Life Specialist and to the hospitalized child and their developmental needs. Students will examine best practices for working with families and application of family centered care. Students will obtain a basic knowledge of stress reduction, coping theories and play therapies.
Prerequisite
Upper-division standing, or permission of the instructor.
