CS 488P Cloud and Cluster Data Management
Covers advanced data management solutions emerging for cloud and cluster computing environments, focusing on horizontal and vertical scalable approaches. Also covers principles behind data management in these environments, plus specific data management systems that are currently in use or being developed. Topics range from novel data processing paradigms to commercial data management platforms and open-source NoSQL databases. Students will gain broad knowledge about
these systems and practical experience with them.
