The College of Education offers a teacher preparation program for bilingual/bicultural individuals who are employees in partner school districts, or bilingual/bicultural individuals seeking a Preliminary Teaching License at the elementary level.

The BTP core consists of 38 credits and 13 credits of field experience. Required prerequisite classes should be completed prior to admission into the BTP program. Students may apply at the undergraduate (with a transfer of 90 credits from approved Education Transfer Map) or graduate level.
