MuEd 430 Elementary Music Methods

Reinforces the foundational skills of Introduction to Music Education including planning and delivery of instruction as well as specific concepts and repertoire common to the PK-6th grade general music curriculum. Core concepts include: progressions of learning, repertoire, teaching strategies, building routines and scaffolds, classroom management, lesson plans, national standards, assessment, differentiation, and approaches to elementary music teaching. Required for all students who seek a basic teaching license with a music endorsement.
