PHE 427 Managing Information in Health Services

Presents concepts of managing the multiple sources of information needed for successful administration of health and related human service programs to improve population health. It builds student competencies to be successful consumers of information through identification, retrieval and manipulation of various sources of health information. Students learn about information resources, use of social media, basic concepts of health informatics, and how to use health data for decision-making.
