Psy 539 Interpersonal Relationships Theory and Research
Social psychological research and theory on interpersonal relationships. Topics include: positive and negative relationship processes; how relationships contribute to health and well-being; what does a healthy relationship look like? How are relationship processes investigated? Individual differences (e.g., gender, culture) in relationship processes. Students will become familiarized with both historic and contemporary approaches within the field, along with methodological approaches that are integral to the study of relationships.
