USP 573 Visual Communications for Planning

Students in this course will review core elements of visual communications including audience, message, and principles of design and will practice drafting, critiquing, and refining visuals. Students work with a wide range of planning visuals - maps, diagrams, illustrations, cross-sections, and large-format graphics - and the software and graphic techniques used to create them. This course is intended to be an intermediate-level course. Expected preparation: USP 525.
