Hst 532 U.S. Cultural History

The relation of cultural attitudes, values, and belief to the American historical experience. Hst 432/532: Anti- Communist, Nationalist, and Anticorporate Insurgence in the 1950s; Antiwar, Racial, Counterculture, and Feminist Ferment in the Protest Era; New Age and Postmodernist Thought; Populist Conservatism and Traditional Values, 1980-present. This is the third course in a sequence of three: Hst 530, Hst 531, and Hst 532. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Hst 432 and may be taken only once for credit.
