Undergraduate programs

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers programs in electrical and computer engineering. Cooperative educational arrangements with Portland-area industries, government agencies, and engineering consulting offices are available to qualified students. Qualified freshmen are encouraged to participate in the University Honors Program. Qualified upper-division students should consider the Electrical and Computer Engineering departmental honors track as described below.

Requirements

It is designed to provide a comprehensive background in the electrical sciences and offers an opportunity for specialization in the areas of analog/RF circuits, digital/VLSI design, electromagnetics, microelectronics, power engineering, and signal processing. This program provides the student with the educational background necessary for employment in virtually all electrical engineering fields. Majors in electrical engineering must complete the following University and departmental degree requirements. Any deviation from the required courses must be approved by the department.
