Fr 342U Literature and Culture of the Seventeenth- and Eighteenth-Centuries
Focusing on cultural, political, and social realities, this course introduces students to literature from France from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Readings include theater, prose, and poetry from representative authors as well as secondary texts that address authors, movements, and/or contexts. This course can be taken individually. Expected preparation:
Fr 203;
Fr 301 or
