Fr 343U Literature and Culture 19th and 20th

Focusing on cultural, political, and social realities, this course introduces students to literature from France from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Readings include poetry, theater, and prose from representative authors as well as secondary texts that address authors, movements, and/or contexts. This course can be taken individually. Expected preparation: Fr 203; Fr 301 or Fr 302 strongly recommended.
