CS 416P Computers, Sound and Music

Applications of computers and software to sound and music, from a Computer Science perspective. This programming-intensive survey course gives an overview of many areas of digital audio and music analysis, construction, and transformation.

Prerequisite

Requires CS 205, CS 302, and CS 350. Familiarity and fluency in programming a computer is required. Basic ability to use the Linux environment is required. Python experience is highly desirable.
