CS 516 Computers, Sound and Music
Applications of computers and software to sound and music, from a Computer Science perspective. This programming-intensive survey course gives an overview of many areas of digital audio and music analysis, construction, and transformation.

Prerequisite
Familiarity and fluency in programming a computer is required. Basic ability to use the Linux environment is required. Previous coursework or equivalent experience in systems programming, programming methodologies, and algorithms is required. Python experience is highly desirable.
