CS 529 Exploring Fractals
Development of mathematical and programming skills necessary to explore a variety of common fractals from different design paradigms. Fractals may include Sierpinski Gasket, Koch Snowflake, Mandelbrot Set, Newton Fractal. Paradigms explored may include Lindenmayer systems, recursive decomposition, and iterated function systems. Programming horizons broadened and linked to visual coding output and mathematical discovery resulting in satisfying, artistic and expressive results.
