SW 590 Advanced Topics in Applied Research Methods for Social Work

Builds on foundation research methods course and prepares students to design and engage in ethical systematic inquiry to improve wellbeing and advance liberation. Courses offered under this number present an evidence-based framework for social work practice and methods for analyzing quantitative and/or qualitative data. Emphasizes application of methods to build knowledge in a specialized area relevant to a student’s field of practice and/or to effectively evaluate program(s) or practice. May be repeated for credit.
