PS 414 Issues in Public Policy
A study of selected major policies and programs of governmental regulation and service. Emphasis is placed upon the formation, administration, and substantive content of policies in such areas as transportation, public utility regulation, medical care, civil rights, education, agriculture, natural resources, and antitrust laws and the preservation of competition. Also offered for graduate-level credit as PS 514 and may be taken only once for credit. Expected preparation: PS 215.
