Psy 471 Health Psychology
Study of the social and psychological influences on how people stay well, why some people become ill, and how persons respond to illness. Particular attention to the stress process. Expected preparation:
Stat 243 and
Stat 244, plus 12 credits in psychology, including
Psy 321;
Soc 200 may be substituted for 4 of these credits and PHE 223 may be substituted for 4 of these credits.
