SpEd 545 Introduction to Orientation and Mobility and Independent Living Skills

Introduces the historical development and field of orientation and mobility (O&M). Provides instruction in basic O&M and human guide techniques. Emphasizes evidence-based curricular content for independent living skills; psychosocial, motor, and concept development domains. Addresses instructional considerations for diverse1 learners with vision loss, including additional disabilities and deafblindness.
