ELP 578 District Leadership: Mission, Vision, and Values of Ethics and Equity
Effective educational leaders enact ethics and professional norms, in a culturally responsive district setting in a culturally responsive educational setting for each student’s academic success and well-being. Using professional norms, they advocate and strive for equity of educational opportunity. Candidates will develop knowledge, skills, professional dispositions and cultural competencies, in a district administrative capacity, to meet TSPC Standard 2 Ethics and Professional Norms) and 3 (Equity and Cultural Responsiveness) with a strong shared district mission. Embeds a 30-hour coherent, authentic, district-based, clinical experience.
