ELP 580 District Leadership: Equity, Instruction and Care for Students

Effective educational leaders develop a culturally responsive, district-wide community of care and support for students resulting in a coherent academic system of support aligned with the district mission, vision and core values. Candidates will deepen and apply knowledge and skills in a district administrator capacity to meet the corresponding TSPC Standard 1 (mission, vision and core values), 3 (Equity and Cultural Responsiveness), 4 (Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment), and 5 (Community of Care). Embeds a 30-hour coherent, authentic, district-based, clinical experience.
