ITP 470 Curriculum Design

Explores the theoretical frameworks and practical strategies that assist novice educators in planning effective classroom curricula centered on the learning needs of all students. Participants will apply principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), backward design, and culturally sustaining pedagogy to create and adapt relevant, student-centered, standards-based curriculum. Particular focus will be placed upon academic and language standards, and instructional delivery methods will also be explored and applied.
